When I designed this satin jacket that my model is wearing, I immediately thought of one of my favorite flowers…the Rose. In particular, the deep dark red rose with its silky petals and dark edges. The beauty of the dark rich color reminds me of being drawn into a world of lush burgundies and full-bodied Merlot. The rich color of this jacket makes it a perfect layering piece for this outfit. The jacket is tailored with a notched collar and a bound buttonhole. It is fully lined and the flounced sleeves give it a modern edge.
